I haven’t heard the album, but this review really ticked me off. The idea that it was only four years ago that pop and “underground” began to mix is just laughable, and it’s the crux of the whole piece. The editors at Pitchfork know better. Not sure why they’re willing to be so intellectually lazy.

– Cuban comes back with about as honest an apology as you’re likely to see. I thought for a second he was going into that useless “everyone’s a little bit racist” space, but he doesn’t. Good for him.
